Kitchen & Light Fixture Redo

Kev and I did a few upgrades to our kitchen. We both were feeling done with the blue we had in the kitchen. We enjoyed it while it lasted, but it was time for a change. We went back and forth between gray and white in the kitchen. We knew we wanted to go with a more neutral color so that we could change up colors in the room through accents. After some thought, we decided to pull the gray into the kitchen that was already in the nook area. I went with gray because I enjoy white accents, and I didn't want to end up having too much white on white.

It ended up turing out great! We love the new color. It gives the kitchen a fresh, clean, and much brighter feel to it. We also ended up painting the kitchen counters, yep painting! I had no idea counter paint existed, but it does! It's a much cheaper way to upgrade your counters if you don't have the $ for high end counters. We didn't know how painting them would turn out, but it was a risk we were willing to take. I'm glad we took the risk because they turned out great!

We also added in a new light fixture to the "nook" room since our previous one stopped working. Honestly I don't know what to call this room, since it's not the kitchen, it's not the dinning room, but theirs a "kitchen" table in it, what do you call it?!?  What do you call such a room? :)
