Master Redo

Kevin and I originally painted our bedroom a kaki/cream color -

This was Kevin's idea in the beginning...but this wasn't really our style.

Eventually, {shockingly} Kev started talking about how he wanted us to repaint our room;

YEP HE wanted us to redo it and bring it up to date with the rest of our house.

This makes me proud of him {ha!}. We both gravitate toward the same style and I love that.

He really does have a good eye for most things decor related.

So finally we got around to repainting our bedroom - we like it A LOT better.

No offense! I think tans and browns look AWESOME in other people's houses,

I REALLY do!, but for some reason Kev and I can't pull it off! We do a bad job at it.

It's not for us, we've tried it and it doesn't work. It seriously feels wrong! weird. oh well.

We love us some color, some white, some blacks, and lots of different grays. :)

Anyways, here are a few random shots of the room in progress.

We still need to put some decor up on the white wall behind our bed frame.

We have some canvases were planning to paint, but have yet to get around to doing it.

I also repainted our cheap $5 mirror from Wal-mart. It's amazing what paint can do. :)
